New single — MOVE WITH THE Moon

Move with the Moon is the second single from the forthcoming We/Or/Me album Days Outside of Time. It is a song about the challenge of trying to tune into some kind of spirituality. Whether it is a creative practice or meditation or yoga or prayer or skateboarding or really any act that involves trying to reach a higher state of consciousness, the world around us seems designed to distract us from such efforts. This song is about that struggle and about the elusive nature of that wavelength we are trying to tune into. “I sent it to Glen Hansard and asked if he had any thoughts or if he would consider adding anything to it. He sent it back with a choir of his voice added—multiple harmonies and the subtle hum of a harmonium,” says Taherzadeh. “What felt solitary and lonely in the song suddenly felt like a congregation, a collective quest and yearning. Where once there was a lone rider, there was now a band of adventurers.”
