NEW SINGLE — LIGHTS OVER LONDON
(feat. joan shelley + rachel grimes)
Lights Over London is the first single from the forthcoming album, Days Outside of Time—the first We/Or/Me album in eight years. A pandemic recording, the song was recorded at home when the world was locked down and family and friends were far apart. “It was a way of reaching out, of tuning into the non-physical ways we are connected. Knowing that everyone was at home somehow made it more possible to reach out and (remotely) assemble a dream team for this song” says Taherzadeh. “Hearing some of my favorite musicians come together to bring this song to life was a deeply moving experience.” Joan Shelley adds her otherworldly voice; Rachel Grimes lends her delicate, intuitive touch on the piano; and Will Stratton, who produced the rest of the record, plays bass and ties it all together. The result feels like an act of devotion, a prayer in uncertain times. (Release date: February 9)
